If not i must go with the potentiometer way and i must use a reduction gear to make it turn 900°+ right?

Yes: single turn pot + gears
Or multiturn pot

Did you look for 3 turns pots over the internet? Maybe it exists and you would have no precision loss

No way that exists 3 turn pot! 10 turns are way too much... Do you have something like a layout for a gear to match to the pot? Maybe someone can share his?

Oh my dear, you won't go far if you don't even do a simple Google Search ;-)

3/5/10 turns pot :

So i'm here again, i'm going to do the MJoy16 board in a couple of days and i think that a 10 turn potentiometer will come also! I choose 10 turn because it was way cheaper than the 3 turns which were going for about 30€, while for this i paid 3€ shipped from china... Now my concernings are about using a 10 turn potentiometer with a gear with like 1:4/3.33 or using a regular 270° potentiometer and look for a specific gear... What do you advise to me?

A 10 turn potentiometer would be ok.

I tried one contactless hall effect 10-turn I had for my custom FFB and I get exactly 4 wheel turns from end to end.

But I'll be using Quadrature encoder eventually for easier calibration... ;)

For me, 10 turns for a racing sim game are very much! I see real cars got a little more than one and an half turn per side... So i think i'm gonna reduce that turns...

Actually, I don't turn the steering wheel 10 times!! LOL

Total travel is about 4 rotations on the steering wheel because I use 2.5:1 ratio pulley-belt:

That gives 1440 degrees total rotation, which I could convert to 900 degrees rotation by using a 4:1 ratio gearing or just use the programmable quadrature encoder to set the exact range.
