Pots for position control

Postby jsmith2307 » Mon 16. Jul 2012, 19:49

Greetings,
I am using 250K Liner pots for position control, and I can't get a proper position on my 1.5 avr. What do you suggest I use. :D

Definitely use 10K Ohm value ones. They are more immune to electrical noise.

Now depending on the way you place them to have feedback from the motor's position, you can use classic ones that rotate 270 degrees or multiturn ones if you are using gears to lower or increase their rotation to fit your simulator motion.
