Newbie 2dof advice

Hi all

Firstly love this site and its peeps. Been a guest for a long while, but now trying to put my dreams in action.

My plan is to build a new sim, making it a 2dof for now, and then adding traction-loss later on

First Question :
Can anyone suggest a good design? And why that design? Ive seen many variations, not sure which is the best.

Second Question :
Car/truck parts are all imported and expensive in my country, I can get some 12volt truck wiper motors, any problems with using these?

Oh yes!! A long time ago, there was an awesome thread giving a breakdown on the phisics involved and what the sim is doing with pitch, roll ect,, anyone remember that thread?? Of saved it as a pdf?
