Default value on output pin

Postby Wanegain » Fri 23. Aug 2013, 15:51

Hello,

I am using a K8061 with sabertooth 2x12 and wiper motor combined with potentiometers.

When starting and closing Converter, the default value on outputs is 0%, in my case this mean full speed in negative direction !
If I forgot to shutdown my motors (before starting and quitting Converter) they will turn non stop and I have to calibrate the potentiometers...

Is there a way to set output value to 50% by default when starting and leaving Converter or would it possible to include this function in next update ?
Or maybe someone has an idea to prevent this (I am using a single switch to supply the sabertooth) ?

I hope I have been understood

Thanks a lot !

There is the same problem with K8055, as far as I remember I also had to do shut down the motors before starting Converter. Sometimes the board got disconnected during the gameplay and motors would went full mental :) But thank godness for the emergency button, was no harm done :)

Maybe the possibility to save this value by default would be great !

I never got this issue concerning the disconnection of the board. It occurs often ?
