What op is suported ?

Postby caysie » Wed 11. Mar 2015, 09:02

Sorry, posted this question in the FAQ section, so may be better answers in here ?

I would like to try out the extractor software, to deside if it is usefull for my purposes. BUT I can´t get it to run !?

With win XP and IE8, it is not possible to logg on, and the software crashes after a failed log on attempt.
Then it is impossible to get a logg on window, even if I reinstall and clear reg.

With win7, same hardware all works fine. So, no connectivity problems in my network.

The thing is :

-I can´t run win7 on the servers I intend to use for my project.

-I will happily buy a license key, but first I need the software to work with my hardware.
And because the Licence Key is locked to the computer hardware, wich I don´t desided exactly what to use -I can´t buy a licence ether !?

I´m STUCK, Please help !!

Hi, you can use any IE from 6 and up. Servers are not tested, they are not designed for games.
if you have login probs, you can first try this forum login with IE.

Thans for your answer "sirnoname"

I can´t get it to work on any computer exept a small notebook with win7 starter.
on this computer I have a different username, wich I don´t remember, it was used only for downloading the software.

Then I created a new user and password to use "seriously", I have tried with both win7 and XP all with IE6 and up. No success :(

-Maybe my account is "banned" or "blocked" backause of this, both uses the same ip adress of course.

I can log in on this forum from all computers I have tested x-sim with, and all ports needed is opened in my firewall :?:

Do you have special characters in your password?

No, nothing, only normal characters.

One thing I see now is that sometimes the IE browser goes into "compatibility mode" to wiew the forum on my "problem" computers.
This is not normal ?
-Will check my router and try another one.
