thickness of material?

Then again, the design was based on 25mm x 25mm x 1.6mm steel box with MDF sheet on the bottom of the seat as a base for the unit pivot point.
I used different motors than what is pictured for this one I built a while ago. But big worm gear motor would really kick.

Could I get the dimensions for the metal parts of frame if u still have them :)

the dimensions are the same as the diagram I posted.
The uni joint height was about 130mm I think. And I had 16mm MDF sheet about and below that on the steel for the uni to mount on.

Hi,
Just getting the parts together, got motors and pololu boards

Working on getting a prop shaft sorted.
Found this on ebay and wondering is it possible to disconnect both ends (very end of each ujoint with bolt holes) apart and connect to each other to make ujoint to save cutting and welding?

Thanks

Also do a search for : universal joint with yoke. That's how I found mine on eBay.

Sorry - do a search on eBay - "driveshaft with yoke". I found quite a few - some new, some priced high, some used at a good price here in USA.
Good luck. Took me about a month to find mine. Just make sure it's not aluminum but steel, so it's easier to weld.

Just an update on the shopping list.
2x polulu Jrk 12v12 boards
2x 90zyt-155-12-gh1356 motors
Prop shaft u-joint from a 1981 yamaha xj650 bike.
Mcp4 Gearboxes and 8020 profile next and I can start.

I will create a rig in progress thread when I get the rest of what I need.

Need help with gearboxes.
I read b4 on prodigys rig thread that the 90zyt-155-12 motors fit the MCP4 gearboxes but looking at the pic it doesnt look like they match up.

3rd pic on listing is what im worried about.

If you are not sure perhaps ask the guys from motioncontrolproducts? As I know the mcp4 fits for the zyt-90 and the mcp-2 for the zyt-80.
