installation and configuration

Postby blaweveraldo » Sun 8. Sep 2013, 05:40

Please I would like someone to help me with the code for the Arduino to make the simulation system work.
Also help me with the wiring diagram of the Arduino Board with mosnter engine shield, pot, engines and power windshield.
Please help me because I'm not getting, if not too much to ask to teach me how I should configure the software so that it recognizes and can work in the best way.
Already thank the community.

Hello blaweveraldo !

Could you first describe what is your setup ? :?:
1634

1or 2 PC ?

2DOF ? 3DOF ? i've been in your gallery : your design looks new, it's great !
i've seen only the thumbnails (internet pb ?) could you give use more information ?

What have you already setup successfully ? software installation, arduino driver ...

By the way, where do you com from ?

Re: installation and configuration

Postby blaweveraldo » Mon 9. Sep 2013, 22:17

Good morning, I had bought a arduino uno, and a shield that did not reach 1 A,
best logo reading the comments I realized I would have to buy another one, today I bought a VNH5019 Pololu Dual Motor Driver Shield for Arduino and 1 source of 40 A.
Will arrive tomorrow. I want to make a 2 dof engine with windshield.
But I have little doubt, from what I understand I enter codes in Arduino and that they are codes and after entering these codes how do I get the software send the necessary commands to the boards.
The pots will have to be of course it is endless.
I can remount the shield on the arduino and if not how to make the connection between them and where I call the petenciômetros.
Ie I doubt very much if you can send me a detailed wiring diagram with the connections of the plates and pots would be more for me to give proseguimento preface to my project.
I'm still only a computer, I know I need another one, but while I'm working on implementing the movements'll buy another when esso be good even for testing.
Another question, what video card would be most suitable and it was not very expensive, and I need two computers have the same video cards or one can be better than the other.
Thank you for helping me.
Stay with God.

Hi !

You can have a look at my tutorial (link in my signature) and you will find some answers !

I have added a wiring diagram for you.

The second computer is not mandatory ! It is only easier at use (once LAN link ok).
This second computer can be very basic : no high video requirements, no recent CPU ... it's only used for running the converter software and running a serial link with Arduino or anything else.

The pololu HBridge you ordered is similar to motomonster board : it's a 2 pins direction and 1 pin pwm board.

Good night, racingmat.
Where do I get the code to insert into the arduino.
The shield plate is the same you posted, arrived today including the engines arrived windshield too, I'll try to call to see if I can transfer movements by x-sim software.
To make sure I get movements atravéz convert and the extractor, I really need the codes entered in arduino or not.
Thanks!

If you can make me a model like the photo polulo with the arduino and wiring connections to one another, also for the pots, I use the common linear or 10k pot should be endless laps.
I'm sorry to bother you, but what you can give me the information I appreciate it.

Hello !

Here are some information below.

blaweveraldo wrote:Where do I get the code to insert into the arduino.

You'll find it in this post in Arduino's code chapter !
http://www.x-sim.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=943

and follow the chapter below :
if you wire everything on your hardware, your particular motor may go the other way that you (or the code) expected !
So follow the process for checking the wiring along to your sim configuration away from the simulator... and without running x-sim !

As I have no time for detailed wiring... ask on my topic, maybe people who have succeed, could draw a detailed wiring diagram for you ?!

I still can not configure the software interfaces coverter in setting every time I click 2 times on usb xpid it opens a window for setting and when I try to enter the door Unlockable the arduino pragrama opens a windows saying that there was a problem and program needs to be closed (as it rsolver).

also try to open the convert and need to try several times until you succeed.
Please I am not able to make my engine work.

Did you succeed with Serial Monitor first ?

No Xpid is needed with this configuration Arduino/motomonster ...

I believe I have achieved so bad I click start the converter to send data to the arduino comes a message that I have to change the usb port to serial FTDI.
I am using a notebook for a while until you can buy a cpu with best configuration (the problem is that there is no door on the notebook "serial", what should I do, the x-sim does not send data to the arduino via port "usb" .
Please more of this request.
Stay with God.
