Ein einfaches Hallo ... A simple hello!

Hallo!
Da es zu den Grundregeln einer guten Zusammenarbeit gehört sich vorzustellen, komme ich gleich mal auf den Punkt…
Mein Name ist Thorsten, wohne im schönen Saarland, bin 35 Jahre jung/alt und verheiratet. Ich zocke für mein Leben gern am PC und bin das erste Mal mit Fahrsimulatoren vor etwa 7 Jahren durch einen Kollegen in Kontakt gekommen. Damals habe ich mir ein Force-Feedback-Lenkrad gekauft und bin stundenlang GTR gefahren. Wie das Leben so spielt hat sich dann beruflich und privat vieles geändert und andere Dinge sind in den Vordergrund getreten. Um das ganze jetzt abzukürzen überspringe ich einige Jahre...
Letzte Woche war ich auf einer Messe und habe dort einen s.g. Playseat gesehen, der an einem PC angeschlossen war. Einige Meter weiter waren namhafte Aussteller wie Bosch und INA, die ihr Können und deren Technik vorgestellt haben. Als alter Zocker und abgedrehter Spinner habe ich mir dann überlegt wie genial es wäre diese Dinge miteinander zu kombinieren und bin so auf Eure Seite aufmerksam geworden! Jetzt spukt in meinem Kopf die Idee, einen solchen Simulator (2DOF mit Option auf 3DOF) selbst zu bauen und diese Idee will unbedingt umgesetzt werden!
Daher hoffe ich auf Eure Unterstützung!
Interessiert bin ich vor allem an Kontakten in meiner Nähe (Saarland/Rheinland-Pfalz/Frankreich/Luxemburg) um sich ggf. auch mal zu treffen und sich über diese Ideen und Entwürfe auszutauschen!
Ich freue mich auf intensive Gespräche und Austausch von Ideen!

My name is Thorsten I live in south west Germany, I am 35 years young /old and married. I have been playing for my life willingly on the PC and my first time driving simulators with about 7 years ago due to one of my colleagues. At that time I've bought a force feedback steering wheel and drove for hours GTR. As life goes all that changed because professionally and personally, and many other things have come to the fore. To shorten the whole story now I skip a few years ...
Last week I was at a exhibition and there was playseat seen, that was connected to a PC. A few meters away some renowned exhibitors such as Bosch and INA, who presented their skills and their technology. As an old gamer and wacky dude I've been thinking how great it would be to combine these things and so I become aware of your page! Now in my mind haunted by the idea of such a simulator (with an option for 2DOF or 3DOF) to build itself and the idea is determined to be implemented!
So I hope for your support!
I am particularly interested in contacts in my area (Saarland / Rhineland-Pfalz / France / Luxembourg) to be necessary to meet sometimes and talk about these ideas and designs!
I look forward to intensive discussions and exchange of ideas!

For your plans this is the correct place
Read the documents and tutorials on this page and try to get into a bit deeper. Meanwhile you can deside which design of sim you prefer. Have a look @ the sims around here - you can find seatmovers (simforcegt) aswell as formely playseats with motion *

Depending on your motivation you can find yourself in a sim playing with motion in November ^^...

Hallo,

nachdem wir für das nächste Projekt ein deutsches Forum brauchen wird es wohl mal Zeit eines anzulegen
Ich habe immer wieder Mails das viele deutsche mit den Anleitungen nicht zurecht kommen da sie in englisch geschrieben sind.
Eigentlich hat X-Sim mal mit deutsch angefangen, daher sollten wir mal enigstens zweisprachige Lösungen haben.

Auch ich habe meine schwere Not mit dem Englischen...
