Hello folks. Great site you have here, I was referred by Roland at simprojects.nl

I am planning to build my first motion platform (2/3DOF) and I've found a number of designs as well as come up with one of my own... well.. not in that order. I came up with my own design and built it in google "Sketch-Up" (awesome program!), then later found DIY plans online that are less likely to be horribly flawed!

My big concern is software to run the platform. I plan to use the platform for as many racing games as possible... my favorite being the DiRT series. I also am interested in WWII combat flight sims. I have a HOTAS (X-52) and pedals (Saitek combat), and a Logitech MOMO steering wheel and pedals. I plan to upgrade my steering wheel setup to a Fanatec setup with a pattern shifter. I am also running three 28" Hanns-G monitors in NVIDIA surround on an NVIDIA 670 video card.

Anyway, I'm going to post in another forum area asking about software to run my motion platform in the games I'm interested, maybe I'll hear from some of you there =)
