Assetto corsa - profile problem

Postby impalone » Tue 27. Dec 2016, 10:30

Hi,
I have just started my sim 2dof SCN5 with XSIM. I created a profile with 25-27 forces. The problem, in my opinion, there are too many small movements.
They seem strong vibrations. It can be a problem or is it just to improve the settings?

Hi ,

Yes these vibrations for me are not normal also , but I noticed that this problem are less present on the new version .

Si first check if :

1- you get the last assetto corsa update
2-you get the last xsim assetto corsa plugin

If both yes and the problem still happens you can use in the math plugin section the mean value filter .You can choose how many values to make a mean .So max is the values used to make the mean so smooth will be the motion .
So you have to be careful because if you make the mean value using a lot of motion values you will lost some information.
But this plugin is one of the solution to decrease these vibrations .I was using 5 or 6 values in the plugin setup. But anyway you have to test to get the best compromise.

I have found the right balance. I used the mathematical plugin "Sine Washout" to 9% and "Mean Filter" value of 12, on 24-25-27 input values input values. While the value of 23 works without added. Now the simulator moves without vibrations and abnormal movements. The tests carried out I noticed that the values 28-30 in 2dof create problems.
Thanks.
