Game Plugin Template

I'm trying to program my own Game-Plugin, but the template source-code provided in other-stuff is rather outdated and refuses to compile on a recent Visual Studio version.
Is there somewhere an updated source code sample to be found (Reading shared-mem and providing data to xsim)?
