This is my first forum and post.
I have been building this seat sins April
The bass is now on liner bearings sliding front to back,
The back of the seat pivots front to back about your kidney high, this and the bass are driven by a snc5 (100) and linkages that let me adjust the length of travel and forces between the back and bass.
On the back there are two more liner bearings and another snc5 (100m) that move the back left to right, 100mm total
At the moment the back moves about 50mm to the front and 50mm to back 100mm total at shoulder height, bass moves about 65mm total.
There is a four point harness, the lap is mounted to the frame and the shoulder straps are mounted to the back.
So when you accelerate the back moves forward and the bass move back which give you the feeling that you are getting push back in the seat and when you brake the belts pull you back.
When you turn left the back moves left giving you the feeling that you are been push into the right side, turn right moves right.
The +2 come from the head restraint which is spring lowed, your neck is move by up to 50mm front to back left to right by the seat, so the spring pull your head over and as you try to hold your head up straight you get the g-force from the spring on your head.
