Happy to take advice on how to hook this up correctly as until then my sim will sit motionless ><

Using a K8055d is not supported because of the bad motion quality and the compared high price to that controller.
Why you do not build the real PID controller offered by our members and shown in the official documents?
Pololus are a good idea but must be the 12jrk version (they have not the needed power).

Jrk's good for 13.8 volts and 30 amps continuous. the 12v12.
There are a few GOOD 12v motors to run on the sim.
Heres one http://www.motiondynamics.com.au/worm-d ... orque.html
I have mine at 10ms currently.

oO... The k8055n im using i have already hooked to xsim and connected instant. For a novice sim builder like myself I feel this was the best option I had for my end result which will involve me upgrading to 24v+ motors, which then suits my pololu cards fine. I understand also that its not just the cards that matter, if you have bad quality motors it will result in lower quality again then what you would get by using the same equipment with better motors of higher quality and higher voltage.

As for building cards, I am not that talented or great with a soldering iron any longer and would result in a lot of crap everywhere, me frustrated and still no card. I also looked at other cards which i may use in a future project if this way does not produce motion i enjoy(better then a nothing i feel is a start). This will not be my only sim as i plan on making a few different versions so then my kids can use them also or i can hold motion sim racing with my mates on lan :D.

Thanks mate, I am trying to make something different then normal as i am not a normal person but used a lot of great design ideas i've found on these forums :D I will credit all who I used to base my cockpit off once i complete it. Which hopefully will be soon as all that is left now is to connect the cards and write my profile ><

Yes the K8055 is not the best, but it does control 24v cards.
As the tronic card had a few issues.....which I am sure are getting sorted though.

Oh and the frame looks good. It gives me an idea what to do with the old trampoline steel ;)

My kids old bunk beds worked a treat :D
As for the tronic card, this is what i want to put into my next sim or upgrade to it once i can figure out how i will/can make it ><

I will have a go at connecting up the cards as per my image diagram 2mrw and hope they dont blow up :D Fingers crossed and hope i am correct :D

Hi Dave,

As the tronic card had a few issues.....which I am sure are getting sorted though.

Can you lead me to the thread where this issues are discussed?

@Kanga
As for the tronic card, this is what i want to put into my next sim or upgrade to it once i can figure out how i will/can make it ><

If you have problems with the boards you can get one if you make a question in the market place with a thread like this-> "[Search] ready builded AMC 1.6 boards"
If a answer is correct or did help you for a solution, please use the solve button.
