3 DOF Sarrus Amc1.6 DIY Dc-worm gear

Postby denizelmas » Thu 22. Nov 2012, 13:53

began! with searching the net, reading reading and reading the electronic issues and not understand, then go search the field for items may be ready to have,
745
forund my uncle who ordered me 10 :!: used mercedes 302 bus wipers 12 v for 10.8€ each :D
747
arranged the place I am going to work (photos will come)
wipers has come photos will come also
amc 1.6 board layout and parts are send to a friend to check the availalbilty and begin to search for pololu18v25 if I could find if not I will try to do double h-bridge by thanos again.

any help or suggestion or idea is highly appreciated, wish me success,

an idea of mine while I have seen the post from caiubbo84:
746
to load a sarrus link with a spring and than let act with the weight

and support from caiubbo84 with a drawing 751to think about

now I am going a bit further, I made a space available in my workshop(Plastic injection mould making)
775 776
then put some pictures to think on
777
The usb ports; For making AMC1.6 board by Tronicgr-Thanos 778 I have luckly found also the ATmega644-20PU chips which I guess get next week. :D hope to be able to do the PCB board- :?: I will also make the Dual mosfet driven H-bridge by thanos as well with the speedy's hıgh power H-bridge to much? but I like challenges and DIY,
by the last but not the least the car seat and our babys seat together    779

I hope that tronicgr-thanos, speedy, and vicpopowill find time to help me when it comes the time.

now I have received the parts for electronics( 2 mounths it's been) and sorted them out whether they are ok or not they seem ok. pictures are coming..! :D

Hi denizelmas,

my suggestion is to use an arduino mega for driver, but you need to be able with c/c++, or better use 3 polul (if i remember good) so than our friend Aldoz with his 3dof!

PS: thanks for mentioned me in your project! ;)

best regards

I think you have to buy JRK... dont do DIY because you dont know how to do it :)

BUY JRK
Thanks a lot !

hı to all,
the wipers for 10€ went floop
while searching better used ones I found this for 65€
758
so decided to buy new dc motor with worm gear for 140€ (190w 97rpm app 12-15 Nm --1/14 reduction for app. 2800rpm) any opinion? :?:

to nury961
about AMC1.6 the thing is DIY not BIY (Buy It Your selves) I want to give a try with even H-bridge. I even studied to make PCB boards my selves. I am trying to find the chip ATmega644 but the list has manny with different order number like http://www.atmel.com/devices/atmega644.aspx any help with? :?: appreciated.
my be tronicgr can hear me. :?:

A friend of mine is going to came in 2 weeks from england-leeds I may ask him a favori to bring with? :?:

to caiubbo84
I do not think that I can handle the c++ think for ardoino board- actually we have the board here available, if you help me I can think to switch, if I can not find or able to bring it here the ATmega chip,

the JRK option is the next option if I can not make a AMC1.6 board we will see.. :D

I agree on the build it yourself idea with the amc. Looks like you maybe be brainier than me with circuit boards :D .
Just a suggestion on JRK as it is almost plug and play and easy to set up.

The big motors look good. Quite a few guys here including me use big motors these days . Better, stronger and faster than wipers. Sometimes cheaper in comparison to cost of a new wiper.

oops again jrk, the joy, where is it, :?: shall I ask my friend for jrk together with atmega644 chip -- confused (look there is fuse! broken :D ) please encourage me ..... is there an option for a driver with feedback like jrk12v12 may be I may find here :?:

Not that I know of.
Advances are bring made with the AMC and research is being done on the Arduino as control boards that need separate h-bridges.
I want to try both in time as well, but for the time being, the boring old JRK will have to do.

Up to you, AMC is good, but needs assembly and parts, unless you can swindle Thanos to build you one for a cost, but at least you have the option of using whatever h-bridge you like. So if you find a fat 12v h-bridge, you can use that, or even 24 or 240v.
JRK is restricted to 13.8 volts at 30 amps continuous , but is an all in one.
