Adjustable H shifter

Postby Tino » Sat 15. Oct 2016, 13:28

Hello. I wish to present my project. Fully adjustable H shifter with realistic feel and shifting block mechanism until clutch is pressed. Adjustable handle throw and adjustable shifting force and feel. Here is a video I recorded directly from 3D modeling software.

I,m currently building the first prototype for further development and will send some pictures of the build. Tell me what you think about the project and if you would be interested in buying final customer version of this product when it's finished.

I'm also making custom pedals that would be connected with shifter to enable shifting blocking mechanism.

In the future whole motion cockpit is planned.

i have a similar idea with the adjustable throw thing but the problem is that you shorten or enlarge the throw in both axis at the same time horizontally and vertically, doesnt it?¿

Yes it does, I don't see that as a problem. :) I think that in real car with short shifter kit, both axes are affected. Also, forward to back throw enlarges a lot more than left to right!
