Rock n ride mods

Postby realitysys » Sun 15. Sep 2013, 12:29

Hi
Iam new to this forum so be kind, I have an old rock n ride platform that is set up as a flight sim just 2DOF. The old rock n ride soft ware is pretty rough and I was wondering how hard it would be to use X Sim to run the chair? Also would I be able to inerface it with Microsoft flight sim programs.
The other thought I had was to use 24v linear actuators in place of the old air cylinders
Thanks Realitysys

DIY, as noted in the banner ;)
You can use the velleman board k8055d instead but must find out the wiring by yourself using the USB rnr board layout. (same chip with other firmware)
If loading the RnR profile (included in the myprofile folder) you must exchange the pinout if asked.
I prefere the board!
