Load cell pedal build: diy or should I buy something already

Hi, after much reading I am a bit lost since I have seen great diy builds but also have read about upgrades for my g25 pedals like stuff from nixim.
Originally I thought diy was cheaper, but now I am not so sure.
What do you guys recommend? Is it really cheaper if you go the route of diy ..like this: https://chippedwood.wordpress.com/2015/ ... ng-pedals/ or this is in the same price level of for example he pro pedals?
