It´s a full motion Sim (Seat, Wheel and Pedals) will move. Not only the chair...MORE REALISM!!!!
All this have a Logitech G27, a Full Dashboard with Rpm, Speed, water, oil, temp.. etc and a Tablet with Information!!!!
I´m with all this project about 2 years.. in the old forum I was very active user.

The electronics is Thano´s AMC 1.6 + Pololu mini Hbridge.

Hi,
It looks like a very nice project.
I have a question: what are the suspensions for? Are the intended for 3rd vertcal axis?

Yes! why you say that?
You think that not move it?
The frame is very light, is made with car tail pipe... and is perfectly balanced.

Just asking. It will work fine.

Just some notes:
1. The frame will become unbalanced when leaning to various angles other than flat, meaning more stress to the motors on the extreme positions.
2. You should try placing some weight hanging lower than the COG to counter-balance all the weight that is on top of the COG.
3. The motors should be setup with KP higher than 10 for the Proportional drive to be able to hold positions without too much undershooting or overshooting.

I guess for your platform all this is matter of experimenting to see what suits you better. And since you built it yourself you can figure out what modifications should be done to improve it, that's the good part about DIY.

OK Thanos, I have to try... Maybe I use 4 motors with 2 bridges at paralell for more power.
Tonight, I´ll fix the motors to the frame, and I´m waiting my 2nd Pololu bridge for testing.

I hope it works!!! I´m with this SH*T over 2 years...

bye
