Extractor won't open - Did previously

Hi guys,

I'm new to X-Sim and struggling at this stage.

I installed the latest software (v3.0.2.9) off the download page and software was working. Open Extractor and get the extractor home screen (Bottom right hand corner has 'play game' button. It was communicating with the converter and importing data from iracing.

Now when I open the Extractor it does not display the extractor home screen. It opens the converter and an Assetto Corsa outsim application. How can I get the extractor home screen back?

I have tried the following:
* removed all files and re-installed numerous times
* removed plug ins from plug in folder
* Closed process in task manager and tried to re-open
* swear and carry on and hit my computer (did not help)

Any help is appreciated

x-sim registry cleaner
remove profiles.db file or delete complete directory
do not import bad profiles

Thanks for response.

You could be right. Seemed to start playing up after loading profiles from database. I've tried registry cleaning tool but just says not responding.

Will look for file you mentioned. Thank you

I have attempted to delete the file 'profiles.db'. It kept re-appearing every time I opened the extractor. Just to clarify, when opening the extractor it would open the converter instead but show the extractor as being opened in task manager.

I ended up restoring windows to a copy from a day before I important the bad profile and upset the software. I re-installed X-Sim and it is now working as before.

Thanks for the help and I'll stay away from importing profiles. Also having trouble getting Assetto Corsa data into the converter (I have iracing data coming in using the X-Sim supplied plug in). Any tips to get Assetto Corsa data into X-Sim?
