More DOF using Arduino

Postby pablobass » Sat 8. Aug 2020, 15:57

Hi,

Hopefully someone with more experience knows an answer to these questions...

Is it possible with X-Sim to control More than 2 electric motors with just 1 Arduino Uno R3 Board?

If it is possible would I only need to rewrite the Sketch to allow the converter to detect the extra motors.

if its not possible does X-Sim allow the connection of more than 1 Arduino board and would the converter detect inputs from the extra Arduino boards

Thanks
Paul

The Arduino Uno is limited with inputs and outputs. Spend another 10 bucks and use two for an easier life. Of course you can rewrite as you like, but then better do not use UNO.
X-Sim is not limited in using more boards. However you must insure they are good connected. Each Uno generation has bugs with the USB interface synchron clocking, so use the latest revision. See X-PID posts.
