Hi

After quite some time I've again tried some laps in pCars yesterday.
Thanks to all the information in this thread I was able to get it work with XSim, but only the 32Bit Version (switch "-x86")

Is there any chance to get the 64Bit version to run?
Extractor keeps "Waiting for game to start" and doesn't recognize the game.
I also tried to create a separate profile with the pcars64.exe, but no luck.

Thank for the hint, that worked.

I wrote a small launcher prog, that takes the game exe as parameter, and waits until the game is stopped.
So I can use the launcher as exe in XSim, and don't have to fiddle with notepad.

Hi!

I am trying to get x-sim extractor to work with Pcars, but i just can`t get it to connect with the game.

Extractor says
X-sim is waiting for the game
pCARS64.exe
and it`s executable
pCARS64.exe

It starts the game but the Extractor just stays in that step and i wont get values in the input section of converter.

I have V5 plugin in the use and my pcars patch is 1.0.1.3
I also have steam rungame id as steam://rungameid/234630
I`m bit confused what do you mean when you say: use notepad as exe

I know this is not a big problem but i am quite newbie with these, but this is the first game what i havent get running at all.

Thank`for the help

You cannot find a 64bit game process with a 32bit X-Sim ;)
In the converter program setup you see the list of all processes from 32 bit view.
You can do a workaround by starting 32 bit game or avoid steam start.
