we are not experts and if the amc was really any good it would have been commercialized by now, come on bite the bullet. Sorry

Hi bobbuilt ,

Why did you give your opinion about this product?
Did you yet test it ?
Could you give a real benchmark comparating to pololu JRK or any other else driving board.I just give in your attention that JRK come from profesional area and Thanos board from private area, don't forget this in your big analys my friend...

I think that the intellect level in this thread is very low and I think the moderator job is also to elevate the debate.

We are going deeper post after post ...and I don't see really where we are going , just to the demolition factory!!!

Agreed Vic , this conversation is getting out of hand but is entertaining to read
I haven't tested the AMC or the ard , but for cost reasons , the ard is cheaper and is plug in supported .
The AMC is good, but uses USO commands and you have to build it yourself.
The AMC will change commands at up to 5000 times a second, nice, but useless as there is NO motors that can react that fast.
Even the JRK at 1ms is good, but I have tried it and there is a slight noticeable difference in motion , but once again , the motor is not really allowing that. Although Bob is testing some profile configs with this, but again , the JRK is not for discussion here.
The ard will do 1 ms , 1000 changes a second from what I have read.
Choice is yours .
The pololu JRK is not up for discussion here as it is 12 v only and this thread is asking about 110v motors , of which Bob has answered sufficiently, you need 3 phase motors.
