I made a RGB LEDS as simhub software with low cost taking advantage of a 3 1/4 "drive cover.
I'll use it in my 2dof simulator I'm making.
Materials:
Arduino Uno
2 RGB Leds card
50cm microphone wire
Old computer plate of 3 1/2" drive

Using the front cover of a 3 1/2" drive from an old enclosure:

Using a crepe tape we mark the points where the holes will be made:
